ASSESSING SEXUALITY AND SEXUAL BEHAVIOR IN CLERGY AND CLERGY CANDIDATES WEBINAR

Mental health professionals have a specific yet important role in assessing sexuality and sexual behavior in clergy and clergy candidate. Assessment tools and approaches vary depending on the type of referral and needs of the referral source. An adequate background in understanding the current research in sexuality and problematic sexual behavior is necessary. Additionally, knowledge of the various assessment instruments utilized in the field of sexual behavior and forensics will aid in a more useful and detailed assessment and subsequent recommendations.
This workshop will review the assessment process from referral to instrument selection while discussing the most current findings in sexual behavior research and risk assessment.
